Welcome to Anne Arundel Community Television, Channel 99.

  Anne Arundel Community Television is the public access cable channel for Anne Arundel County. Its purpose is to provide a medium for individuals, organizations and educational institutions to communicate with the citizens of the county. AACT is organized and operated by the Anne Arundel County Government to provide the following services:

Control Panel 2 Studio

1. to provide training in the use of television production equipment.

2. to produce and encourage the community to produce programming that serves viewers with high production quality, diverse viewpoints and regular scheduling.

3. to act as the vehicle for coordinating the public, educational and government access programming.

4. to develop and administer appropriate regulations concerning the use of the public access channel and its facilities.

AA Community Television offers video production facilities for Anne Arundel County residents who wish to produce programming for public access broadcast. We offer video production classes which cover basic video production (our field cameras use MiniDV format tape) and editing (using Sony Vegas 7 software). AA Community Television also has a fully equipped studio facility with 4:3 (full screen) and 16:9 (widescreen) video capabilities (DVCPro format).

Non-County residents may submit programming for broadcast consideration under the sponsorship of a County resident. A programming schedule is available on the website, as are our rules for broadcast and submission forms. A Users Forum is available for certified facility users as a way to communicate with each other and to seek assistance with their projects. The Forum is password protected. Please visit the link for instructions.

Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Closed Sunday and all County recognized holidays.

The facility may be closed on occasion for County related business without prior notice. Please call before planning your visit.
